About us

Mission

Speedcubing Türkiye is a volunteer organization founded so that WCA competitions in Türkiye can be held regularly and safely. We are not a business; we are people who solve cubes and want competing to be open to everyone.

Our purpose in three sentences:

• Announce every WCA competition in Türkiye and keep the calendar current.
• Prepare newcomers and their families for their first competition.
• Build a competition culture that is safe, transparent and true to the rules.

In the long run we aim to become the Regional Organization for Türkiye recognised by the World Cube Association (WCA). Registration, results and rankings stay on the WCA; we explain and point the way.

How we work

• Transparency: The bylaws, the board list and official notices are published on this site: Bylaws, Documents, Notices.
• Rules: Competitions follow the WCA Regulations under the supervision of WCA delegates. We do not make rules; we help people learn them.
• Safe environment: Our principles and how to report a concern, so that everyone is safe: Safe environment.
• Volunteering: From judging to translation, from photography to software, every contribution counts: Volunteer.
